We’re pleased to offer you this amazing 1981 Ferrari 308 GTB Carter Secco with matching numbers and matching colors. This legendary Ferrari 308 Carter Secco was sold new in Modena and still presents its original Black Modena registration plate number. Being one of the last 308 GTBs that were produced, it features all the upgrades of the series maintaining the original and iconic Pininfarina-styled bodywork. This 308 is offered complete with its key and double key, spare wheel, tools trousse, warranty card, books, and unique documentation, including taxes and insurance receipts from the previous years. The car spent its entire life in Italy: it remained for the first 15 months of its life in the hands of a Businessman in Modena and then for 42 years with its family, still in Modena. The previous owner preserved the car in amazing condition, doing all the maintenance work, of which he kept the full documentation. The car is finished in the timeless shade of Rosso Corsa and has a brown moquette with perfectly preserved original beige leather interiors that were never repainted. A meticulous inspection has pointed out that the car has never gone through any accident and the almost perfect condition of amazing bodywork, that is not compromised by any kind of rust and does not present any evident flaw. The only parts that needed to be refreshed were the front spoiler and the rims that had been repainted because of some small scratches. The vehicle has been inspected by our mechanics, who have confirmed that it is perfectly functioning in every single part: internal equipment, lights, suspensions, clutch, gearbox, and synchronizer are all perfectly working. The braking system is perfectly functioning too: all four brake discs and brake pads have been recently replaced by the previous owner. A major service has been done, with the replacement of the timing belts, the service, and the air conditioning belts. Furthermore, the water pump, the spark plugs, and the oil, air, and fuel filters were replaced and new bushers were installed. The fuel tank was made empty and fully cleaned. The cooling system was emptied too to allow the cleaning, after which it was refilled with new liquid.
